How to Repair Split Dyson Hose
1. Cut off the hose damage to leave the rest of the hose that is not damaged.
2. Unclip the top plastic part of the hose with your flat headed screwdriver as shown in the video.
3. Warm the rubber sleave on the top part, this enhances pliability. You can then remove it with the help of your screwdriver as shown in the video.
4. Uncoil the hose from the black plastic part.
5. Apply a small amount of glue on the first indent that the hose screws onto.
6. Screw on the hose ANTI-CLOCKWISE.
7. Refit the rubber sleeve after warming it again.
8. Clip on the plastic top.
REPAIR COMPLETE! This is shown on a Dyson DC40 but all the ball models are similar. Older Uprights too have similarities but without the rubber sleeve step.
